Mere days after posting in this blog about mobile phone dating provider Mobile Match.com (a Match.com company), Match.com has announced its users can now access all of Match.com's database through Mobile Match.com for an extra $4.99 a month.
Previously, the databases between the two companies were kept separate. Match.com CEO Thomas Enraght-Moony was quoted as saying:
When we listened to customers, they told us they saw the distinction between the Web and mobile as somewhat artificial. People expect to get it on their PC, cell phone and BlackBerry and that's what we're giving them.
