The Sex and the City Movie has finally wrapped and is now in production for release on May 30, 2008. It is a short trailer, with little details given regarding the plot of the film: Mr. Big and Carrie kiss briefly, the now-famous walk down New York streets with Miranda, Carrie, Charlotte and Samantha is shown, and a couple of twirls from Carrie in a wedding dress round out the clip.

As well, the New York Post reports that a sequel is already in the works. The producers (one of which is Sarah Jessica Parker) have stated openly in several news sources that they feel the movie will be such a hit with the TV show's fans they've decided to write a clause into each of actors' contracts to ensure the option for sequel is a possibility.

Personally, I'll be watching the movie if only because I want to see what happens with all of the dating couples' storylines, especially Mr. Big & Carrie and Miranda & Steve. A sequel seems a bit early to me, but I can appreciate the need to keep options open in case the film really does do well at theaters. How about you?
