Blog carnival: a traveling blog post that highlights a specific, chosen topic in the blogosphere, via posts written by various bloggers.

Blog carnivals have fascinated me for a couple of years. The best ones introduce me to great bloggers I've never heard of, and rarely do I read one where I don't find at least one idea to investigate further. So when I went looking for a dating blog carnival earlier this week, I was surprised to find few that were regularly maintained and run by dating-related sites. (Several health and wellness bloggers do throw dating topics into the mix, but none of the blog carnivals I found along this vein focused on dating).
