Using Astrology To Determine Compatibility
I've recently gotten my hands on a copy of Love Is In the Stars, an audio CD program created by Vedic astrologer Carol Allen. This eight CD set is sold to determine the compatibility between two people, using Eastern astrology instead of the well-know, "what's your sign, baby?" western astrology.
I'll admit that at first I was a skeptic of the program. Most of my astrological delving hasn't described me well, and I find most readings too vague for my liking. Plus, how would I get someone's birth data (time, date and place) to run this sort of program before getting to know them well? (Luckily, Allen discusses how to get around this dilemma).
After several hours of using Allen's program, I'm not ashamed to say that I'm hooked. Now its not easy nor a quick process, but after charting myself and a dozen of my friends, ex's and their partners, I've been surprised with the results. Not only have the readings been eerily accurate, but they've helped more than a handful of us see our relationship issues in a completely differently light. As this was one of the many intentions of Allen's program -- showing singles and couples that their relationship issues aren't necessarily a personality default but rather differences in compatibility, temperament an/or communication -- I'd say Love Is In the Stars served its purpose. Later this week I'll post my full review, but in the meantime, I'd love to hear your thoughts. What do you think about compatibility programs such as these? Have you ever used one? What were your experiences?
