9 Year Old Writes How-To Dating Book
What started as a pamphlet created for his school's book fair has metamorphosized into a 46-page hardcover published by HarperCollins. In "How To Talk To Girls," nine year old Alec Grevin talks about how "pretty girls are like like cars that need a lot of oil," and "If I say hi and you say hi back, we're probably off to a pretty good start."
A fourth-grader who readily admits to crushing on a girl in preschool, Grevin was discovered after being introduced to his now-publisher by Ellen Degeneris after she interviewed him on her talk show. Appearing wise well beyond his years, Grevin admitted on the show that he's too young for a relationship, saying his data and suggestions were culled from the playground and his voracious reading habits.
