... or at least that's what owner Markus Frind says on the Plenty of Fish blog.
As soon as I read his blog post, I clicked on the link to see who I was matched up with. Interestingly, none of the folks on my list were people I knew, and most were folks I was interested in learning more about - with a few standout dating profiles that made me think, "How on earth did I not see this person before?" The only complaint I have is that I couldn't change how far my matches lived from me; because I live on an island, many of the folks on my list lived too far away for me to ever do anything about.
The system uses predictive modeling to determine who one will be compatible with -- essentially looking at years of data, compiling and contrasting other user responses to their compatibility test, and then coming up with a list of folks who meet similar criteria. Does it work? I haven't a clue. But if nothing else, it may provide new, fresh faces to someone using Plenty of Fish that feels like they aren't meeting the right kinds of people.
Will you use Plenty of Fish's prediction tool, or have you already? Do you think it'll work for you? Has it helped you find love already? I'd love to hear your comments and experiences.

I tried the POF tool and loved the results I got. However, the results I got did not love me. I had a nice, stable and educated man (my age I add) tell me I was too old for him and his goals but wished me luck.
I’d like to wish him a happy divorce in 10 years from now when he realizes that women & men, who marry early in life have the highest incidence of divorce. Ah karma, it’s a bitch! And so is a woman scorned!
