What Time Of Year Did You Meet the Parents?

When Thanksgiving rolls around, it means the start of Meet the Parents Season - or at least it does for me and many of you, if my email inbox is any indicator, as well as my own personal experiences. A few years back I shared my Thanksgiving date disaster story (and encourage you to share your own date disaster stories). But my question here doesn't revolve around bad dating experiences, but rather, when you met the parents.

What time of year did you meet the parents of your current and/or past loves? Did the holidays push you into meeting the parents earlier than you normally would have? I'd love to hear your experiences by filling out the poll questionnaire, or if your situation doesn't fit the choices, by adding a comment.

Usually it is necessary to visit parents no matter what time it is. This assures them that you mind and care about them as the ones who straggled to make what you are today. Therefore I do not wait only sometimes I make special times to visit them not everytime.

Is there a good time to meet the parents? I hate it, i’m getting so damn nervous, what would the dad think about me taking his little girl? Do they like me. I’m getting so nervous that i’m almost getting sick. But I especially hate it when we have meet through online dating, because the parents is often not so open minded. My girlfriend and I met through WooDating.com and I can clearly remember the scepsis from the father about me .But now it’s all good, thank god :) and to the next summer we will have our first kid :)

We’ve been dating for six months this Saturday, and I still haven’t met the parents. What to do, what to do….
