Welcome to the Dating Blog Carnival!

The Dating Blog Carnival is a weekly blog carnival featuring the best of the dating blogosphere. Every week a host blog reviews the submitted pieces, selects the posts they feel are the best, and posts them in their blog along with personalized commentary.

For Readers: A Dating Blog Carnival is a fantastic way to keep up with what's going on in the dating blogosphere without having to locate and read various dating blogs just to find relevant, informative tidbits that are of use to singles and dating couples. A

For Bloggers: By submitting your best dating blog posts every week, you'll increase your blog readership and fans. Hosting a weekly dating blog carnival takes this idea even further.

Dating Blog Carnival Submission Guidelines

  1. All blog posts should be relevant to singles, dating, or dating couples. Advice and tips on how to do something are preferable, i.e. How To Meet The One vs. Why Meeting The One is Important.

  2. Posts should have been posted within the past month, although preference will be given to posts written within the past week.

  3. Posts that sell or market products or services (including dating sites) will not be accepted. If you have a dating site you'd like listed at About.com, please fill in this request form instead.

  4. All submitted posts should stand on their own, without links that ask readers to click to read more, or point to other articles for more information.

  5. The deadline for posts is noon PST every Tuesday for publication on Thursday.

Please submit your post for next week's edition at Blog Carnival.

Dating Blog Carnival Hosting Guidelines

  1. Please review the submission guidelines listed above to ensure you know the kinds of posts the Dating Blog Carnival is looking for.

  2. Choose a maximum of FIVE of the best posts, in your opinion.

  3. If five posts are not submitted that meet the Dating Blog Carnival guidelines, please look for enough posts to fill out the carnival edition on your own.

  4. A link to each blog post is required, along with the posters' name, blog name, a short blurb describing the post in your own words, and some editorial commentary. Feel free to write the blurb in your own style and format, but please refrain from merely copying and pasting the submitters information.

  5. Please post your Dating Blog Carnival edition to your blog by 5pm PST on Wednesday so I am able to include it in my weekly newsletter.

  6. Be sure to link back to this page to encourage readers to submit dating-related blog posts in the future, or to sign up as a host.

Please email me if you'd like to host a Dating Blog Carnival.
