The Bottom Line
A wonderful addition to any single woman's library, Dr. Diana provides useful, practical and highly specialized advice, how-to's and to-do's for those wanting to change their relationship status quickly. Although the title suggests finding a mate in 90 days as the goal, there are ample references to using the tools provided as a stepping off point to find love in whatever time frame suits you best. The only potential turn off? The work-towards-love requirements, which took this reviewer a minimum of several hours a week to perform, although all were well-suited and highly recommended.

Guide Review - Love in 90 Days by Diana Kirschner
Single women frustrated with their lack of romantic love in their lives - even ones who are currently in a relationship and questioning whether or not their partner is 'The One' - will find support, solace and concrete suggestions to get their hearts on the track towards a committed, long term relationship in 90 days or less. Or, at least so says Dr. Diana Kirschner's new book, Love in 90 Days.
Does the book deliver? While reading it, I was thrilled with how many times Dr. Diana exceeded my expectations. Her tone is friendly yet direct, explorative while being kind. Her suggestions ring true throughout the entire read, mostly because of the supporting information from other women she's helped through the Love in 90 Days program, but there were definite moments of brilliance held within its covers, most notably Chapter Two (The Deadly Dating Patterns) - which is mandatory reading for any woman struggling with her singleness.
Is the book for everyone? Dr. Diana does a good job of covering the bases, adding a chapter towards the end that deals with the myths and realities of dating as a successful woman, older woman, black woman and/or single parent. Unfortunately this (and the chapter right after it) felt more appropriate as an Appendix than a week-long how-to, as it didn't quite flow with the feel the other chapters. Yet Dr. Diana goes further than most dating books do in her last chapter, metering out sage advice and research to back up her claims about how to keep the love alive long term after you've met The One.
Overall, Love in 90 Days is a highly recommended read for single women, with only a few caveats for those without a lot of time to invest in the process. But as Dr. Diana points out in the very beginning of Love in 90 Days, finding a mate is like looking for work: a full time job in and of itself.
