"If you are so successful and busy that you don't have time to meet new people, don't like to date clients or co-workers and are not interested in the bar scene then try Pre-Dating speed dating events!"

Overview from PreDating

How Does PreDating Speed Dating Work?

Peruse PreDating's online list of events in a town near you. If an event catches your eye, sign up online or fax in your registration. Phoning in your attendance is not recommended as an extra $5 fee applies for this service.

You'll then receive an email from the PreDating host giving you all of the necessary information for the event. It is recommended that you show up early to get your 'scorecard' and get settled.

At the speed dating event, you will meet a minimum of 10 other singles during six minute 'date'. After the 'date', you'll have a couple of minutes to write on your scorecard whether or not you'd like to get to know this person better before moving on to the next candidate.

Turn in your scorecard to the event host after the night finishes, and within a day you'll receive a response with a list of others that also wanted to meet you. PreDating states in their company literature that over "two-thirds" of their clients receive at least one match from each event.

Unique Features of PreDating

PreDating offers a match guarantee: if you do not find at least one person you are interested in getting to know better after a speed dating event, PreDating will allow you to attend another speed dating event at no cost.

PreDating is also one of the oldest and largest speed dating companies in the U.S., setting up shop in 1991 and hosting more than four thousand people every month through 103 different venues. They are also the only speed dating company to cater to single professionals.

PreDating Speed Dating Fees

Event costs vary depending on the location and style of event. Fees normally include light appetizers and one cocktail, and some events also offer extra perks, such as admission after the event to the comedy club the speed dating was hosted in. On average, fees seem to range around the $30-40 USD mark for early registration and the $40-50 USD mark for all registrations after the early bird date.

PreDating takes credit cards or checks in the mail for payment, and attendees are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Had a Great Time at Pre-Dating Speed Dating, Member Jcomosolo

Had tried speed dating before with another company and it was good but I was really impressed with Pre-Dating. It was easy to register, the event was well attended and the organizer was fun and welcoming which helped calm my nerves. After the event, I was thinking about the differences between the companies and I felt the quality of the people was noticeably higher at Pre-Dating. Also more people were at the Pre-Dating event and as picky as I am, that's a good thing. I haven't found online dating to really be my thing so attending events face to face seemed like a good option. If you've never attended speed dating give it a try, whether it be with Pre-Dating or some other reputable and experienced company. It's a good format and allows you to at least get to know a lot of people in a short time. I've certainly burned a lot of time with online dates that went no where so there's nothing like meeting people in person before investing a lot of time into them.
