My Review

The site kept trying to match me with people that clearly stated that they were not interested in anyone in my age group.

They also would not accept two of the photos that I tried to post in my profile. The photos were both in good taste. One was a photo that showed me with an animal that I harvested in fair chase hunting. There was no blood or gore in the photo. I live in Northern Michigan and hunting and fishing are a way of life for many people here. The other photo was a photo of me in my Vietnam Vet color guard uniform, which by the way, was accepted in the State Capitol Building a couple of years ago where our color guard was involved in a Memorial Day ceremony, Too much political correctness for me.

How much did you pay?

They put me on auto renewal without informing and I only found out by looking at my account on the web site. I only paid for a month. I paid $23.98 for a month

I used a credit card..

Would you recommend this to a friend?

No

Bonny Albo, About.com Dating, says:

Note: many dating sites employ automatic billing practices, which means if you don't cancel prior to the last day of your trial or paid period, you'll automatically get billed for another membership (usually, the same amount as what you paid for originally, but not always). By law, these details need spelling out in the Terms of Service, which you (normally) had to agree to before signing up. Make sure to look at the fine print, each and every time that you use your credit card online to avoid these kinds of issues.
