Where and How We Met
Way back in 2001 I was on the site PalTalk.. in a spiritual based chatroom. Everyone was talking and I heard this man start to talk. I was so drawn in by his voice, I just KNEW that I had to get to know him... So I started chatting with him online and I never do this, but I gave him my phone number! He called me that day and we talked for about 4 hours! I was in a bad marriage at the time, and I really knew that this man and I would be good friends. Well, he has been my best friend ever since! We have been talking on the phone for Over 8 YEARS!!!! He FINALLY came to Boston last month.. It was meant to be! :)
How We Fell In Love
Talking to someone on the phone for over 8 years can help you to really know them at such a deep level. Our Friendship has been so wonderful all of this time. He has always been with me through a lot of personal things I was going through, always cheering me up, always there for me! When he finally came to meet me in person last month.. April 2010.. It was the best time of my life! We are completely in Love and plan to get married next Spring, We are true Soulmates. :) True Love is worth the wait!
Advice
- My experience is that I was married for a while.. not a healthy relationship.. I dated other guys, even had another serious relationship with one for 6 months. All of this time though.. the man I had been talking to for 8 years, has been by my side.. through it all! Sometimes true love is right in front of you, and it takes you a while to realize it. All I can say is that True Love should never be rushed.. and hey, don't knock internet chat rooms.. it worked for us! :) Good Luck!
