Where and How We Met
My mom picked him out for me! No, really... we switched places for a day in 9th grade for a project. I went to work at the Elementary School for her, she went to my classes for me. When she came home she said I ought to get to know that guy that sits in front of me in math class -- he was very smart, cute and had been nice and polite to her. So I started making more of an effort to talk to him and get to know him.
How We Fell In Love
We never really dated, we just talked and hung out as friends during school, then when he became an exchange student we wrote letters back and forth for months. We really got to know one another very well through those letters and we started dating seriously once he came back home.
Advice
- Attraction is great, but if there's not a solid base of friendship and understanding the relationship will fall apart.
- Listen to your mother, she knows!
