my boyfriend's parents were out of town for the weekend... i went to the store and bought all of his favorite foods (good for picnicking) and sparkling grape juice. i brought a blanket, plates, utensils, and candles along with the foods. i brought christmas light and two friends along with me. it was about 9 at night... he has a tree house in his back yard that we strung with christmas lights. we carried the food, grape juice and candles up and lit them. i made him hide downstairs and then walked him outside so he could take it in all at once! :) had a picnic in the sky, under the stars. :)

Last summer I was madly madly in love with a wildland firefighter and he had very short and far between visits home. He came home for one day and we decided to rent a movie and make the best of the time we had together. The business I own is in the heart of downtown next to a giant clock tower in a historic building. We grabbed the laptop and a bottle of wine and a blanket and climbed on the rooftop on a warm summer night and watched a movie above the traffic and commotion and ended up falling asleep only to wake up to the sun barely rising and the clocktower slowly creeping toward five am when he had to leave me for another two or three week assignment. That was one of the best nights of my life and Ill always remember it.

Consider booking a Couples Massage at a local Day Spa. They typically last an hour and are done in a shared space with mood lighting and music, aromatherapy, and then you can have a romantic dinner afterwards. I know they offer them at Comfort & Joy in Fairfax, but other spas may also have a couples suite. Happy Romance!

This was about 4 years ago now. This guy I had been seeing for about 6 months had yet to ask me to be his, and I was starting to lose hope. I had a troublesome childhood, including years of abuse and molestation at the hand of my father. So needless to say, I found it very hard to trust men. On father's day, 6.19.05, the beautiful Korean boy I'd been seeing took me to the movie Madagascar. We sat awkwardly, both of us trying to cozy up against the other one without being too obvious. After the film, he took me back to his house. We then proceeded to spend the next few hours just walking around his neighborhood, watching the sun set and talking. It was well into the evening, and to be frank, I was getting upset at the prospect that this would never go anywhere. He let me leave, giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I arrived home completely disheartened, only to have him ask me to be his. He said he wanted me to to have at least one reason to be happy on Father's Day. Now I do.

David DeAngelo has been sending out lots of information on "Cocky & Funny" as the way to attract women, and according to him, men who give flowers or candy are perceives as wusses, wimps, or desperate by women who are looking to be ignored because they are approached by men all the time. Being romantic is nothing new to them and they are looking for someone who "gets it," not someone who needs to be liked.

At sun set or a clear moonlit night at about 1 in the morning, go walking with your lover in the middle of an open field. Nothing more romantic then seeing the sun set on a flat plane with golden light on each others faces, or the silver beams of light from the mood and bright stars in an open field. And if it starts to rain, make sure to kiss her because it will be one of the most romantic kisses you'll ever have. Talking in a park beside a lake late at night is also good.

I talked with the photographer secretly via email. We set aside a time and place to meet up and discussed before hand the kind of pictures we would be taking. I dressed my husband up and told him we were going out for a night on the town. After dinner we stopped at the location and introduced him to the photographer, explaining to him the surprise. We had our pictures taken for free (they turned out GREAT!) and in exchange the photographer got to use them to build his portfolio! This was fun for us because we didn’t have to spend a ton of time trying to set up the tripod to take our own pictures. We were able to really let loose and have fun with the photographer. And the pictures were photo shopped and sent over to us that next morning!

*Flying a kite at night (You get the larger kit and tape glow sticks to it). Sack up a blanket and possibly a picnic desert and you’re flying free! *Finger painting… or even better… Body Painting (swim suits optional). *Going to a (practice night) for an expensive play/performance. This is the night before opening night when they do the run through of all the lights, music. Aside from the occasional stop these are actually really fun and A LOT cheaper then buying full priced tickets. *Video Date. This can be done in a group or alone. You go to difference places around town and do different activities and bring a video camera/or digital camera and capture all the precious moments! (Suggestion, if you’re date is conscious about looking “cute” make sure to give her a heads up).

Well it started off simple enough we got a pizza at the local pizza place and i decided to take her to one of my favorite personal places of mine. Its a tower set on top of a giant hill that over looked the whole city. by the time we arrived at the location the sun was just starting to set and the way the sunset reflected off of the nere by bay was just beautiful. we climbed all the way to the top passing a group of musicians on the way up. when we finally got to the top i wasnt even hungry anymore all i could do is stare into her gorgeous hazel colored eyes. at some point the musicians started to play love songs on there aquatic guitars. i really dont no how long we sat there holding hands staring off into the sunset but by the time we were down it was well past sunset. i took her back to my place and told her how beautiful she looked and held her in my arms till we both fell asleep

It was about 2 years ago. I had a blind date and picked her up at home. We kissed right away after about 15 minutes of driving. She had no idea where we were going. I was living in L.A. at the time so I drove her to a private suite hotel. I got a room and we had a private beach and all. We stayed there for two full weeks then we got a friend of ours to get ordained online they did and then we got married on our beach.

My man knows that I love being around the water. One night, my man surprised me with a date to the waterfront in New Bern, NC and we walked on the boardwalk. When we got to the end of the boardwalk, we saw a shooting star. He told me to make a wish. I did. When I asked him what he wished for, he told me that his wish already came true because he feels as if God has blessed him with one of his special angels that was sent here just for him. He said that he didn't believe in wishes but he believed in blessings and I am something that he has been praying for for a long time. I cried like a baby and vowed that I will love him forever.
