Indoor Picnic
- It's cold out but still want a "Picnic", buy glow in the dark stars and plaster them to the ceiling and the very top of the walls to simulate the curvature of the earth. Get your stuff together and lay out a blanket. For added flair, do this in the living room and load a photo/video of a campfire or night pond scene on the big flatscreen. Don't forget the candles.

Star Gazing
- Go to a quiet place when it gets dark. (A park or backyard) Spread out a blanket and lay close together and watch the stars.

Great dates create memories
- I read a great article and they mentioned that it doesn't matter how much effort you put into a date. What matters is how memorable it is and that's not done when you just do typical things. They drew reference to The Tipping Point in that you have to put the constructs of the date as needing to be emotional, a story, concrete, and unexpected. An excerpt for Miss Pivot website walking through generating a great date: So what makes the date sticky - Talk with your date. Is that emotional? A stroll or walk with a date. Is it a story? Make it a stroll down a landmark and they can tell others about a war memorial they saw perhaps. Is that concrete or use schemas of romantic examples? Make the stroll down the beach. Is that unexpected? Make it a ride down the beach on a dune buggy. Bingo!

- Hi!! I prefer to choose a suitable date....both should be totally free to enjoy. Plan a great picnic on a mountain top or near sea beach. Carry enough food, which should be organic an low calories an balanced. Both of u shop an cook together, sharing is important in intimacy, lol. Drive turn by turn, keep taking plain water as fruit juices will stain u r teeth, haha....keep driving an driving, enjoy the nature, take video. Keep driving an driving...yes now u r on the top of the mountain, lovely...beautiful nature. Hold u r hands, choose a comfortable place to sit down to take u r lunch. After the lunch rest for a while an then start climbing an walking lot of peaks, this way u r exposed to climb the lifes mountains. If u plan to swim u r exposed to swim through the ocean of life, ha ha....Basically if u wish to have a lasting relationship understand the importance of caring and sharing... so pl. have a wonderful date for the first time and always when ever u find time, take care..-

Romance on the Water
- Here is a great date idea that breaks-free from the norm! Consider a memorable and romantic date on beautiful Long Island Sound, such as: Romantic picnic for 2 on either a Westport or Norwalk CT Island, Lunch or Dinner cruise to Long Island (Northport, Port Jefferson or Huntington NY), Sunset Cruise. Or, if a more thrilling date is what you have in mind, PureFunBoating.com also offers water sports (water skiing, tubing, wake-boarding).

Childhood relived
- My boyfriend and I have been going out for a little under a year now, and thinking back it was hard to chose the best, most romantic (and fun) day I had with my sweetie. After a while I was digging through photos and fondly remembering all the days that we spent hand in hand. Soon enough I had found about five photos from one summer day, when a fair came in town. For two cheap tickets, we played games all day long. My boyfriend caught me a cute cat plushie with a robo-claw that I still have today. When we were through with gaming and strolling, we sat down and had two ice cream cones on a bench. We chatted until the sun began to go down, and the amazingly bright stars shone on that cloudless night. We looked for constelations and made up some of our own, laughing when I spotted one that looked just like my cat plush. At around nine, we went back home. A quick goodnight kiss and I was left at my apartment with wonderful memories. :)

Dessert Date
- Because of my husbands and my differing schedule we go out on Tuesday night after dinner for dessert at Baskin Robbins. Tuesday is their $1.00 scoop night. They actually have a dollar and dollar fifty sized scoops and we try new flavors.

Schoolyard Serenade
- This girl who I absolutely adored, and who also really liked me did something special for our school's Valentine's Day celebration. I wrote her a silly, sappy Valentine's Day poem in 1st period, and at the beginning of 6th, I took my acoustic guitar, snuck out of class, bought her some heart balloons, and knocked on the window by her desk. She stepped outside to "use the restroom", and we walked to a secluded area. Then I started to play "My Heart Will Go On", by celine Dion for her. I gave her a hug, told her "Happy Valentine's Day", and went back to class.

creative picnic
- my boyfriend's parents were out of town for the weekend... i went to the store and bought all of his favorite foods (good for picnicking) and sparkling grape juice. i brought a blanket, plates, utensils, and candles along with the foods. i brought christmas light and two friends along with me. it was about 9 at night... he has a tree house in his back yard that we strung with christmas lights. we carried the food, grape juice and candles up and lit them. i made him hide downstairs and then walked him outside so he could take it in all at once! :) had a picnic in the sky, under the stars. :)

rooftop rendevous
- Last summer I was madly madly in love with a wildland firefighter and he had very short and far between visits home. He came home for one day and we decided to rent a movie and make the best of the time we had together. The business I own is in the heart of downtown next to a giant clock tower in a historic building. We grabbed the laptop and a bottle of wine and a blanket and climbed on the rooftop on a warm summer night and watched a movie above the traffic and commotion and ended up falling asleep only to wake up to the sun barely rising and the clocktower slowly creeping toward five am when he had to leave me for another two or three week assignment. That was one of the best nights of my life and Ill always remember it.

A Couples Massage
- Consider booking a Couples Massage at a local Day Spa. They typically last an hour and are done in a shared space with mood lighting and music, aromatherapy, and then you can have a romantic dinner afterwards. I know they offer them at Comfort & Joy in Fairfax, but other spas may also have a couples suite. Happy Romance!

Madagascar and Music
- This was about 4 years ago now. This guy I had been seeing for about 6 months had yet to ask me to be his, and I was starting to lose hope. I had a troublesome childhood, including years of abuse and molestation at the hand of my father. So needless to say, I found it very hard to trust men. On father's day, 6.19.05, the beautiful Korean boy I'd been seeing took me to the movie Madagascar. We sat awkwardly, both of us trying to cozy up against the other one without being too obvious. After the film, he took me back to his house. We then proceeded to spend the next few hours just walking around his neighborhood, watching the sun set and talking. It was well into the evening, and to be frank, I was getting upset at the prospect that this would never go anywhere. He let me leave, giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I arrived home completely disheartened, only to have him ask me to be his. He said he wanted me to to have at least one reason to be happy on Father's Day. Now I do.
