Centenarian Dating

Wednesday September 3, 2008

A yearly survey undertaken by health care company Evercare that reviews lifestyle differences between Centenarians and, well, everyone else. Some interesting dating statistics came out of the survey, including:

  • Both the Boomers (44-62) and the Centenarians have dated someone they've met from an online dating site (3%);
  • A few more Centenarians (15%) have been on a blind date than Millennials (13%; 20-29);
  • Centenarians believe that standing by their partner is less important than any of the other age ranges polled (51%). These hundred-year-old folks were also the "least likely" to rate the following relationship markets as important: saying you are sorry even if you think you were wrong (57%) and sharing similar hobbies or interests as your partner (35%).
